Shots fired into vehicle with 2 adults, child outside Fort Worth convenience store

A woman who was a passenger in a vehicle was shot several times in the stomach Saturday night outside a convenience store in Fort Worth, police said.

A group of people were outside of Smokey's convenience store about 8:26 p.m. in the 5300 block of E. Rosedale Street when a vehicle drove by, police said.

Gunfire was exchanged between the people in the vehicle and the people outside the store, police said.

Several bullets went into the car where a little girl was in a car seat in the backseat and was not injured, police said. The woman who was sitting in the passenger seat was shot.

The woman is in stable condition, police said.

Police did not have any suspect information at the time.

No other information was available.
