A Sioux City man, accused of killing a toddler back in 2018, was found guilty on all charges on Wednesday, June 23rd.

Tayvon Davis, 26, is charged with first-degree murder, child endangerment resulting in death and multiple counts of child endangerment for causing fatal injuries to his girlfriend's 19-month-old daughter.

Medical professionals who examined the toddler said the severe injuries appeared to be intentional, including multiple head injuries, kidney detachment and evidence of healing fractures.

The jury deliberated for about two hours before returning with the verdict.

First-degree murder carries an automatic life sentence in Iowa.

No sentencing date has been set, yet.
