Surveillance cameras captured two men burglarizing a smoke shop in Covington.

On Sept. 9, King County deputies were called to the shop in the 27600 block of Covington Way Southeast in at 5:30 p.m.

The store owner told deputies that around 12:55 a.m., two men entered the shop after breaking the glass door.

Once inside, security cameras recorded them taking money from the register and loading their backpacks with cigarettes, vape pens, and other smoking paraphernalia.

Deputies said both burglars appear to be white. One had distinctive purple hair.

Anyone who recognizes the men is asked to call the King County Sheriff’s Office 24-hour non-emergency number at 206-296-3311 and refer to case #C21028201.
