Texas Official: ‘Wrong Decision’ Not To Confront School Gunman Sooner
Steven McCraw, the director of the Texas Department of Public Safety, told reporters that the “wrong decision” was made by police who chose to not storm Robb Elementary School while an active shooter was still inside. McCraw was responding to backlash over police’s response to a mass shooting in Uvalde, Texas, that killed 19 children and two adults.
