Two DC girls, 12 & 13, charged for stealing Tupperware from victim on Thanksgiving: MPD

A 12-year-old girl and a 13-year-old girl were arrested and charged with a Thanksgiving Day robbery, the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said. 

The incident took place in the 300 block of I Street, Southwest at approximately 8:08 p.m., MPD said.

Police said three girls approached a victim at the listed location and stole a cell phone and three pieces of Tupperware. Police added that the girls fled the scene and that two of them were taken into custody by responding officers.

The police report details that the three girls were approximately 5-feet-3, wearing all black clothing and one had a pink or purple-colored sweater.

Crime Solvers of Washington, DC currently offers a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and indictment.
