Two New Kensington teens have been charged as adults with attempted homicide for allegedly shooting a man in June.

Isaac “Zacc” Weihrauch and Ernest “Chubbz” Gary IV, both 17, were taken into custody by New Kensington police Friday afternoon. Their charges include attempted homicide, aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person and conspiracy.

Both are being held in the Westmoreland County Juvenile Detention Center.

Police said the teens shot a man shortly after 4:30 p.m. on June 19 in the East Ken Manor section of New Kensington.

Police said the victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds but survived. No other details were available.
