Uncle of farmworker who died in Yolo County accident visits site of crash
A fourth person has died of their injuries Friday after a single-vehicle crash in Yolo County the day before that injured seven others. The California Highway Patrol said the crash happened Thursday around 2:55 p.m. on County Road 14, which is between Interstate 5 and Interstate 505, just west of the community of Zamora. The day after, a farmworker approached the site of the crash — a smashed tree and miscellaneous possessions strewn about from the crash are all that remain — and said he was supposed to be in the van that crashed, but he didn't go to work with the 11 others because he woke up with a nosebleed.
