Original story:

Two days after a deadly shooting the Goshen community is finally getting answers.

The city is holding a press conference at 6:30 p.m. tonight and will be addressing the tragedy that killed two people and sent three others to the hospital.

So far, no names or motives have been officially released.

But there’s been a lot of rumors circulating around social media.

What we do know, Bethany Christian Schools in Goshen has just confirmed that this incident involved one of their students' families.

They told WSBT that they held an assembly earlier today and are offering support for their students.

Here is Bethan Christian's statement:

The shooting happened after 3 p.m. Saturday afternoon on Rosemare Court.

Two males are dead, and three females were seriously injured, although we don’t know their ages or conditions right now.

Neighbors tell us they didn’t hear the shots fired but heard screaming after it happened.

While some say they feel unsafe, and others tell me it’s a quiet place to live.

One man says he’s concerned about how irresponsible people can be with guns.

“We've gotta have more parental involvement with these kids as they’re growing up. They buy guns, and they don’t know how to use them so it’s a mess,” said Maurice Lehman.

Goshen’s mayor and police chief will be speaking at tonight’s press conference about the investigation.
