New video posted online shows the moment Las Cruces Police Officer Adrian De La Garza risked his life to take down a drug dealer after he shot and killed New Mexico State Police Trooper Darian Jarrott during a traffic stop.

Investigators said Omar Felix Cueva was driving east on Interstate 10 after shooting Jarrott 11 times.

The video from De La Garza’s lapel camera shows how the chase ended.

Footage shows De La Garza driving his vehicle and then conduct a pit maneuver to stop Cueva in the first 10 seconds.

De La Garza is seen rushing out of his vehicle and coming face-to-face with Cueva just before a shootout.

De La Garza fires his weapon and is shot by Cueva in the bicep, according to the video.

De La Garza is seen falling to the ground and taking cover behind his vehicle and getting back up.

During the shootout, other law enforcement officers fire multiple shots, killing Cueva.

The footage then shows De Las Garza being treated at the scene.

He got hit, he got hit, officers said.

The camera which is on his uniform is laid down on the street.

The video shot from the ground up, shows officers taking off De La Garza's vest and equipment so they can treat De La Garza's gunshot wound.

His brothers in blue continue are heard reassuring him, he’s going to be okay.

You’re alright, you’re alright, you’re gonna be alright."

De La Garza is continuing to recover from his injuries.

Video of the shooting captured from De La Garza's lapel camera was posted on Reddit.

Viewer video obtained on February 4 shows the pursuit and shootout in Las Cruces. It was edited to not show the graphic footage.
