Warren County investigators identify couple dead in a murder-suicide

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) - A second person has died in what Warren County Sheriff's deputies are calling a murder-suicide.

Deputies were called to a home on SR 132 in Washington Township on Nov. 10. They found Brian Colbert, 39, dead from a self-inflicted gunshot.

Sarah Colbert, 34, had also been shot. She was taken to the hospital by medical helicopter. Investigators reported she died from her injuries.

Sarah's mother made the call to 911. She said Sarah was in her vehicle after taking the kids to school when Brian pulled up in a pickup truck behind her. He went up to her car window and she heard him fire a shot. She said she heard another shot and he was on the ground. She told the call taker that she didn't know if her daughter was dead or alive and she was afraid to look.

Investigators said the murder-suicide stemmed from a domestic situation.  Warren County Children's Services was involved.

Two people found shot in an attempted murder/suicide in Warren County

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) - Two people were shot in an attempted murder/suicide in Washington Township, Warren County. One of them has died, according to the Warren County Sheriff"s Office. Warren County deputies were called to the home on SR 132 south of Clarksville Tuesday morning.
