Watch: U.S. Weapons Shipment Arrives In Ukraine As Russian Tensions Grow
The first batch of military aid from the U.S. arrived at Boryspil International Airport in Kyiv, Ukraine on Jan. 22. The U.S. embassy in Kyiv confirmed the shipment consists of 200,000 pounds of “lethal aid,” including “ammunition for the front line defenders of Ukraine". The shipment demonstrates America's commitment to help Ukraine bolster defenses as fear of Russian invasion into Ukraine persists.
