A bus driver with the West Ada School District is accused of having illegal sexual contact with a pre-teenage girl.

The Ada County Sheriff's Office says Leroy Morris, 79, has been charged with a felony count of lewd conduct and could potentially have other victims.

An investigation started on Thursday after the Meridian Police Department says someone reported Morris for making a sexual innuendo toward a pre-teenage girl when she got on his bus earlier in the week.

Deputies say they uncovered evidence that Morris had sexual contact with a different girl as she got on the bus earlier Thursday morning.

After interviewing several people, including officials with the bus company and Morris, he was arrested and taken to the Ada County Jail.

The crime of lewd conduct is punishable by up to life in prison.

Morris drove a bus route in the West Ada School District, including Silver Sage and Christine Donnell elementary schools in south Ada County. He also drove students to and from Centennial, Mountain View, and Renaissance high schools as part of his last assignment.

Detectives are now concerned Morris might have other victims. Anyone with information should call detective Shellie Strolberg at (208) 577-3788 or send an email to sstrolberg@adacounty.id.gov.
