What we know about the Collierville Kroger shooting: 10 employees, 5 customers shot

Fifteen people were injured and two were killed, including the suspect, in an active shooter situation at the Collierville Kroger grocery store Thursday afternoon.

The shooting took place at the store location at 240 New Byhalia Rd.

FBI visits home in Antioch, Tennessee in connection to shooting and suspects apartment

Law enforcement visited a home in Antioch, Tennessee in connection to the mass shooting. A family friend said the home belonged to the suspect's parents.

A reporter for The Commercial Appeal visited The Madison at Schilling Farms, the suspect's apartment complex, and saw a small number of police officers. 

Collierville shooter identified

The shooter, 29-year-old named Uk Thang, was a third-party vendor with Kroger.

Friends of a woman who died in the Collierville Kroger shooting have identified her as Olivia King.

44 employees inside Kroger when shooting occurred

At a 6:10 p.m. press conference, Collierville Police Chief Dale Lane said that forty-four Kroger employees were inside the store when the shooting occurred.

Shooting victims transported to Memphis hospitals

Police Chief Lane said there was one victim in surgery and another in the ICU on Thursday.

A spokesperson from Regional One Health said they received nine patients related to the shooting. Four of those patients were in critical condition.

A spokesperson for the Baptist Memorial Health Care system said one person had been brought to the hospital in relation to the shooting.

Collierville police said 12 people were injured and one person was killed in the Kroger shooting.

Investigators believe the suspected shooter also died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Glenda McDonald, who works in Kroger's floral department, said she believed she saw a bagger and some customers get shot before fleeing.

Shelter-in-place at Collierville schools lifted

A shelter-in-place on all Collierville Schools was lifted under consultation from the Collierville Police Department that the scene is secure. The schools are proceeding with normal operations of dismissal.
