Woman fatally shot during argument in Far North Dallas, man arrested
A 62-year-old man was arrested in the fatal shooting of a woman in Far North Dallas on Friday night.
Richard Davis was booked into the Dallas County jail on a murder charge. He was moved Tuesday to the Denton County jail, and his bail is set at $100,000. It is unclear whether he has an attorney.
Officers responded about 6:15 p.m. Friday to a shooting call in the 3400 block of Misty Meadow Drive, near Marsh and Briargrove lanes.
They found a woman shot, and she died at that location, police said. An arrest-warrant affidavit identified the victim as 59-year-old Pamela Bush.
Bush reportedly came to the location to visit, police wrote in the affidavit. After several hours, the two became involved in an argument, police said, and Davis told a witness he shot Bush and fled.
Dallas police said Davis later turned himself in to Fort Worth police, along with a gun.
According to Collin County court documents, Bush and Davis divorced in 2017.
