Officers found a woman in a vehicle in the driveway with a gunshot wound.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

A man was located close to the vehicle on the lawn, with an apparent gunshot wound.

The male was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he was pronounced dead at approximately 10:15 a.m.

Police said the scene is secure and the investigation is ongoing.

A truck with one window shot out was towed from the scene around 12 p.m.

Police have not identified the victims or released what led up to the shooting.

A neighbor, Joe Trionfo, said he was sitting in his backyard Thursday morning when he heard the gunshots.

"I thought it was coming out of Fox Lake. I thought it was hunters, but then I realized it was repeated," Trionfo said.

"It was constant gunfire," he said. "I just saw a dark shadow figure and I grabbed my binoculars and I looked over and there was a body laying on the lawn."

"I would hate to have to deal with this kind of situation," Trionfo said.

A blue truck with what appeared to be a shattered window was towed from the scene.

Titusville police say the investigation remains active and ongoing.

They say they plan to release more information on this shooting Friday morning.

We will bring that to you as we get it.
