WORCESTER, MA — Worcester police have made two arrests in the wake of a fatal June shooting in the Green Island neighborhood.

On July 4, police said they arrested two people under age 18, and had identified a possible third person involved in the June shooting along Millbury Street. Police did not immediately say what charges the juveniles are facing.

According to police, the 17-year-old victim was shot near the intersection of Millbury and Lafayette streets around 6 p.m. on Wednesday. He was taken to a hospital, but on Thursday, police reported the teen had died.
