Ghislaine Maxwell May Serve Her Sentence at Low-Security Connecticut Prison
After being sentenced to 20 years over sex trafficking charges, Ghislaine Maxwell's lawyers are requesting she be detained at the low-security federal prison in Danbury, Connecticut. The facility is also known as "club fed" for its laid-back atmosphere. Danbury holds just over 1,000 prisoners. The facility has seen other high-profile female inmates before, including "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice, who served a 15-month sentence for fraud.
