History has been made in Forsyth County, after a set of triplets tied for top honors at West Forsyth High School. Zane, Adam, and Rommi Kashlan each graduated with a final GPA of 4.72. They learned the good news just a few days before graduation, and Adam, the youngest by a few seconds, was chosen to speak at the ceremony.

The next stop for the brothers is Georgia Tech, but they say they’re not planning to study the same course work.

“I'm planning to go into biomedical engineering,” Rommi said. “I might do a Masters or PhD after, but engineering is sort of where I want to be. Things might change in college, but that's my general direction.”

His slightly older brother, Zane, is taking a different path.

“I'm planning to be either a researcher or a doctor,” Zane said. “So am I going to pursue a PhD or an MD? I'll just decide later in college.”

As for Adam, he’s still undecided.

“I'm definitely going into the STEM field,” Adam said. “Whether I want to go and pursue research with my PhD or go to med school is a different question. But I definitely want to stay in the STEM field for the future and possibly go into research or pursue my medical degree.”
