When people at an adoption hearing in Bernalillo, New Mexico, were asked to speak up if they wanted to address the court, the judge got an unexpected taker.

Young boy shares his love for adoptive mom with entire courtroom
The five-year-old boy at the center of the case spoke up.
"I wanted to say that I love my mom so much and that’s she the best mom I ever had," the boy told the judge.

When he saw that his adoptive mom, Jennifer Hubby, was becoming emotional hearing his words, he reached towards her for a hug.
Watch the judge's reaction to the moving courtroom moment in the video above.
Hubby says she had been wanting to adopt the child since he was born. After years of saving up for the high costs of the lengthy legal adoption process, her family was finally able to make it happen.
