GREEN BAY – Brown County residents who participate in the Green Bay Packers'  annual drawing for tickets will be notified in the next couple of days if they were picked for this season.

The Packers said Thursday they sent invoices to fans selected to fill the 2,500 designated seats for each home game during the regular season. Fans are allowed to purchase up to four seats.

Each seat is $118 and the payment deadline is April 16.

The Packers established the Brown County drawing after the 2003 Lambeau Field renovation to reward county residents for supporting the 0.5% sales tax that paid for the work. The number of tickets was reduced over the years because of declining participation. The Packers have had to do at least two drawings per year before all tickets are claimed.

Brown County residents can get on the list at packers.com/browncounty. Residents also can sign up by visiting the Packers ticket office, Lambeau Field Atrium guest services desk or Packers Pro Shop and presenting a photo ID and a second item to verify residency, such as a utility bill or bank statement. Current season ticket holders and their spouses are not eligible.

Names and addresses within Brown County will be verified by the Packers ticket office before the drawing each March. Fans will remain on the list until their address changes or they ask to be removed.

The tickets are electronic and will be assigned to the users' smartphones. They cannot be sold on the secondary marketplaces, but can be transferred directly from fan to fan.

The Packers are planning for a normal season with a full stadium. Last season, the team banned fans were for home games because of the COVID-19 pandemic until late in the season, when a select number were invited to attend the last couple games.
