Legendary Singer Tina Turner Dies at 83
"Queen of Rock 'n' Roll" Tina Turner died at the age of 83. According to her family's statement, Turner died at her Switzerland home after battling an illness. Born Anna Mae Bullock in Tennessee, Turner steamrolled her way to stardom with her then-husband Ike. She later rose from the ashes of domestic abuse, left her husband and embarked on a blockbuster solo career. In 2021, she was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
