Nearly 400 animals at Harris County Animal Shelter need homes now

Harris County Animal Shelter has urgent need for fosters and adopters for nearly 400 animals. During the Memorial Day weekend, the shelter received its largest intake - nearly 200 animals - this year. It was posted on the facility's Facebook page.

Currently, there are 492 animals up for adoption or fostering.  The facility comfortably house 150 to 200 animals.
