Takeoff’s Alleged Shooter Has Been Charged With Murder.

Takeoff’s alleged shooter, Patrick Clark, has officially been indicted on charges of murder by a Texas grand jury. Takeoff, real name Kirshnik Khari Ball, was shot dead during a party he attended in downtown Houston. The Migos rapper died from gunshot wounds to the head, torso and arm. He was 28 at the time of his death. Clark was arrested that same day in on the east side of Houston in November and was later released on a $1 million bond in January. 22-year-old Cameron Joshua was arrested for his involvement in the incident, he was charged with the unlawful carrying of a weapon. While the indictment was expected, it does not mean that Clark is considered guilty. Clark’s attorney, Carl Moore, said in a statement that indicting someone requires little proof and that Clark will be redeemed in court. "When we get inside a courtroom and in front of a jury, where we will be able to put on our evidence and cross-examine the state’s witnesses — where the standard of proof is guilt beyond reasonable doubt – we expect the jury will come back with a verdict of not guilty", Carl Moore, Patrick Clark’s Attorney. Clark is currently under 24/7 house arrest, has to give regular drug tests, and is forbidden to drink alcohol.
