Doctor Faces Attempted Murder for Driving Family Off Cliff: DA
A doctor is accused of intentionally driving a Tesla off a cliff in California with his family inside last month. Now Dharmesh Patel, 41, of Pasadena, is facing three felony counts of attempted murder as well as child abuse. Officials first thought it was a terrible accident when the family of four, including two children, went over the cliff near Devil’s Slide in San Mateo County. A massive rescue effort ensued to get everyone to a hospital. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
