Thieves Set Explosions at 2 ATMs But Get Nothing

Two men in England have been convicted of trying, and failing, to blow up two ATMs. Police in Essex shared surveillance video they believe shows the men putting a gas canister outside of a bank, then lighting it on fire. According to police, the explosions caused £100,000, or about $122,700 U.S. dollars, worth of damage. But the two men didn’t get a dime. “Despite their actions, they left each scene without a penny so their actions really were in vain," police said.
