Breaking Down Biden's $1.9 Trillion Stimulus Proposal
Jan.14 -- Douglas Holtz-Eakin, an economic adviser to John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign who’s now president of the American Action Forum, a center-right policy organization, looks at Joe Biden's stimulus proposal. The president-elect will ask Congress for $1.9 trillion to fund immediate relief for the pandemic-wracked U.S. economy. This will be followed in coming weeks by a second, broader jobs and economic recovery plan that will include money for longer-term development goals such as infrastructure and climate change, a senior incoming Biden administration officials told reporters. Holtz-Eakin speaks on "Bloomberg Daybreak: Australia."
