White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre denied a claim that WNBA athlete Britney Griner would be back in the U.S. if she was "Lebron," saying Biden is doing "everything he can" for Griner's case. The basketball player was detained in Russia in Februrary for alleging having cannabis products in her luggage, and has been held in the country since.
