This is an open letter that speaks to the lived experiences of POC and their experiences with racism in Simi Valley. Local elected officials refuse to acknowledge or take accountability for the racism that runs rampant in this city. Elected official have gone on record to say that there is little racism in Simi Valley and that any racism that may exist here is perceived.
