Defending democracy: The men and woman protecting the U.S. Capitol
Tens of thousands of National Guard troops — more than those in Iraq and Afghanistan — have been deployed to Washington, D.C. to defend the Capitol and the city following the riot earlier this month. NBC’s Leigh Ann Caldwell reports for Weekend TODAY.
