Doctor Disputes Johnny Depp’s Finger Injury Claim at Virginia Defamation Trial
Johnny Depp was expected back on the stand at his defamation trial on Monday. However, in a surprise move, the “21 Jump Street” star was not called to testify by attorneys of his ex-wife Amber Heard. A medical expert did testify today that Depp’s finger could not have been injured as he had claimed. Depp said Heard threw a vodka bottle at him, injuring the digit. This is the last week of testimony in the trial; it’s expected that the seven-member jury will begin deliberations on Friday.
