Dr. Deborah Birx, once President Donald Trump’s coronavirus coordinator, told Face the Nation about the chaos behind the scenes in the White House as the pandemic spun out of control. “I saw the president presenting graphs that I never made. So I know that someone out there or someone inside was creating a parallel set of data and graphics that were shown to the president,” she told host Margaret Brennan in an interview. Birx is now under fire on social media for not resigning and going public.
