JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — John Calipari is apparently not going to UCLA.

Just hours after the 247Sports UCLA website reported that unnamed sources had revealed Calipari was showing "serious interest" in the UCLA coaching job, the Kentucky coach took to Twitter to reaffirm his commitment UK.

"Before I go to bed, let me just say this: I’m coaching at the Univ. of Kentucky. In my opinion, there is no better job in the world to coach basketball," he tweeted. "My plan and my desire is to retire at Kentucky. I think the university feels the same as I do and we’ve talked openly about it."

Calipari has frequently been tied to other jobs throughout his 10-year tenure at Kentucky. He has received several contract extensions in response to that interest.

His most recent contract extension was signed on March 20, 2017.
