Michigan Congressman reacts to new charges in Flint water crisis case: “the people of Flint finally will have their day in court”
Rep. Dan Kildee (D-MI) joined NBC’s Joshua Johnson to discuss the latest developments in the Flint water crisis. Earlier this week, nine people, including the state’s former governor, Rick Synder, were charged for their alleged role in the crisis. Rep. Kildee gives an update on the state of drinking water in the city and comments on the broken trust between residents and their government. “This is a community that had government fail virtually at every level,” Rep. Kildee said.
