Police still searching for East Boston woman who vanished in November

An East Boston woman last seen months ago remains missing.

Reina Carolina Morales Rojas, 41, was last seen getting into a car in the area of Bennington Street in East Boston and was apparently dropped off on Allston Street in Somerville on Nov. 26, 2022, according to Boston Police and the Middlesex District Attorney’s office

Morales Rojas is described as a 5-foot-5 Hispanic woman with black hair and brown eyes, weighing in at around 145 pounds.

Photos shared by the police show that she may change her hair color and style fairly often, with styles ranging from short, blonde cuts with soft lilac highlights to long straight or curled hair. The photo marked as most recent shows shoulder-length dark hair.

Police ask that anyone with any information on Morales Rojas’ location call Boston Police detectives at (617) 343-4234.

Alternatively, tipsters can provide information anonymously through the CrimeStoppers Tip Line at 1-800-494-TIPS (8477) or by texting the word “TIP” to CRIME (27463).

About 600,000 people go missing in the United States each year, according to the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System, or NamUs. Those include 178 Massachusetts residents currently listed in the organization’s database.
