As the January 6 Committee commands center stage, a DOJ criminal investigation into the Capitol attack is quietly expanding, most notably by the federal search warrant executed this week on former Trump DOJ Official Jeffrey Clark. Rep. Peter Welch (D-VT), a member of the House Intelligence Committee, spoke to MSNBC’s Michael Steele about the expanding investigation as well as the Supreme Court’s attack on American rights.
