Rev William Barber: Biden’s plan to increase minimum wage to $15 will lift 39 million out of poverty
As Co-Chair of Poor People’s Campaign and Repairers of the Breach president, Reverend Dr. William Barber carries on MLK Jr.’s legacy as a man of the cloth leading the fight against poverty. He joins Ali Velshi to discuss how President-elect Biden’s plan to raise minimum wage to $15 an hour would lift millions out of poverty. Barber supports Biden’s idea and says “it’s the right thing to do… it’s economically insane not to do it.”
