The Surf City Marathon was held again, offering not just the premier race, but also a half-marathon, 5K and a mile run on the beach.

Jason Yang of Los Angeles was the overall men’s winner of the marathon, finishing a second over 2 hours and 29 minutes. Michelle Jacobsen, of Newport Beach, led the women over the marathon’s finish line with a time of 2:57:41.
