During his rally in Texas, Trump talked about the meeting between Russian and Chinese presidents.

A day later, Trump’s supporter from Georgia, Marjorie Taylor Greene, retweeted Putin’s interview, which only made people more suspicious about the alleged ties with Russia.

Trump talks about Putin

Trump said, “If you saw the other day with President Xi, smart, top of his game, President Putin, smart, very smart people, standing there talking about the world order for the next 100 years.”

He expressed he would end the war in Ukraine in 24 hours and continued talking about his relationship with the Russian leader: “I used to talk to Putin, I got along well with Putin, I used to talk to Putin about it. It’s something he certainly had on his mind.

Trump continued by saying he never even talked about it.

Trump’s suggestions are intriguing

The former president added, “As soon as I was out, or left, or however, you want to describe that catastrophe, they started putting soldiers on the border.”

Perhaps Trump implies there would be no war in Ukraine if he were in Office.

Trump concluded that Putin “wanted to get a piece,” but “now it looks like he’ll end up, probably, getting the whole thing.”

The thing, in this case, is Ukraine, it appears.

Greene talks US dollar, quotes Putin

In her tweet, Greene said, “I warned the dollar would be replaced with the yuan a year ago when Washington decided to wage a proxy war with Russia in Ukraine, and now it’s happening.”

She added, “The Warmonger’s Ukraine war is going to plunge Americans into economic woes never seen before in our entire history if the dollar falls. They will be to blame, and America will never recover. This has to end.”

The attached video sparked controversy

Alongside her tweet, Greene shared a video of Putin.

The retweet said, “Putin says the US shoots itself in the foot by restricting the use of the dollar, and Middle Eastern countries are switching to the Chinese yuan.”

It further quotes Putin’s interview, containing allegations that “the Middle Eastern oil-producing countries have announced they want to use the yuan for settlements.”

Social media users went after Greene

Twitter users called out Greene, with one saying, “You, like Trump, are a Russian asset and a traitor.”

Another shared, “Perjorie Traitor Greene is all about helping Putin spread his propaganda.”

The third wrote, “Marge is a confederate soldier, not an American public servant. She has taken over Congress and wants to destroy the nation from the inside. She admits it. Her public agenda is reinstalling a criminal traitor she’s obstructing justice for and breaking up the United States of America.”

Trump’s Republicans are against Ukraine

Ted Nugent, who opened the Waco rally, told the crowd:

“I have a couple of really good ideas: give me my tax dollars back. I didn’t authorize killing babies at Planned Parenthood…I want my money back. I didn’t authorize any money to Ukraine to some homosexual weirdo.”

Previously, Greene and many other Republicans attacked Biden for meeting the Ukrainian president. Some also claimed Zolonskyy wanted American soldiers to join the war.

This claim was false, as the president of Ukraine suggested that Russia’s invasion of Ukraine was only the “beginning” and that Russia plans to “capture” other countries.
