Amy Coney Barrett Sworn Onto Trump’s Supreme Court Ahead Of 2020 Election; Twitter Reacts

The Senate has officially confirmed Amy Coney Barrett as justice to President Donald Trump’s Supreme Court by a narrow 52-48 vote just eight days before the Nov. 3 presidential election. Barrett was sworn in shortly after her confirmation. She replaces the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, giving conservatives a 6-3 majority. Barrett is likely to serve on the high court for decades to come. Her vote could be the deciding one on upcoming cases involving the Affordable Care Act, abortion rights, and voting rights.
