Biden Claims No Government Shutdown Unless Someone ‘Decides to Be Totally Erratic’

Speaking to reporters Thursday, President Joe Biden said he doesn't believe there will be a government shutdown. "I spoke with Mitch McConnell, I spoke with Schumer," Biden said. "There is a plan in place unless somebody decides to be totally erratic, and I don't think that will happen." If Congress doesn't pass a bill to fund the government by Friday at midnight, the government will shut down.
