Biden Documents Were Stored at Another Location as Well
The document scandal involving President Biden’s mishandling of classified documents has another twist in its ever-evolving story.
Recent reports reveal the classified documents were stored at another location before ultimately reaching the Penn Biden Center, where they were discovered last November.
The Original Storage Site
The Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement in DC oversaw the facility where the documents were reportedly stored in a space in DC’s Chinatown.
They were stored there for about six months while the Penn Biden center was being readied for occupation. The Penn Biden center officially opened in 2018.
The documents were moved in 2017 after they were temporarily stored at a transition office once Biden left the Oval Office after serving as Barak Obama’s vice president from 2009 – 2017.
The new location adds yet another twist to the Biden document scandal. It raises further questions about who else may have been privy to these classified documents before they were eventually stored in a locked cabinet at the Penn Biden Center.
Those Involved
The lady who oversaw the packing and shipping of the documents in question in 2017 was Kathy Chung, a former administrative assistant recommended by Joe Biden’s son, Hunter.
Kathy Chung and Hunter Biden had “worked together at the department of commerce years ago,” an anonymous source claimed.
There is no evidence that Chung was aware of the content of the boxes which she oversaw the packing and shipping of, “She helped pack up the contents of the vice president's office, including documents, and was responsible for their being transferred to the transition office.
She just didn’t know the contents of every box that was being moved”, claimed the source.
In and amongst the classified documents were papers related to late son Beau Biden’s funeral and documents pertaining to house repairs at Biden’s Wilmington residence – another site where classified documents have been found.
At a Friday press briefing, the White House press secretary again reiterated that Biden and his team were cooperating fully with all investigative proceedings but declined to comment further when pressed on the matter.
Instead, she referred the case to the Department of Justice, which is currently investigating the matter.
