Biden's Classified Documents Problem Just Got Worse
President Joe Biden's attorney on Saturday confirmed that even more classified documents have been found in Biden's possession, this time inside the president's Delaware home.
"At the outset of this matter, the President directed his personal attorneys to fully cooperate with the Department of Justice," Biden's personal attorney Bob Bauer said Saturday night. "Accordingly, having previously identified and reported to DOJ a small number of documents with classification markings at the President's Wilmington home, and in the interest of moving the process forward as expeditiously as possible, we offered to provide prompt access to his home to allow DOJ to conduct a search of the entire premises for potential vice-presidential records and potential classified material."

“The Republicans are going to do everything they can to harm the [Biden] Admin." On Thursday, the newly-created House Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government is set to hold its first hearing. The subpanel is just the latest avenue for fearmongering Republicans to do what they do best: peddle baseless conspiracies. MSNBC’s Ayman Mohyeldin spoke to a member of that subcommittee, Congressman John Garamendi of California, about how Democrats plan to fight back. MSNBC
The Department of Justice (DOJ) began a search of Biden's home beginning Friday morning and concluding later that evening covering "all working, living and storage spaces in the home," Bauer said.
"DOJ had full access to the President's home, including personally handwritten notes, files, papers, binders, memorabilia, to-do lists, schedules, and reminders going back decades," Bauer said. "DOJ took possession of materials it deemed within the scope of its inquiry, including six items consisting of documents with classification markings and surrounding materials, some of which were from the President's service in the Senate and some of which were from his tenure as Vice President. DOJ also took for further review personally handwritten notes from the vice-presidential years."
This is the third time in the last couple of weeks that classified documents have been discovered in Biden's possession. The first came after records and documents were found at the Penn Biden Center in Washington, D.C., which prompted U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland to appoint U.S. Attorney Robert Hur as special counsel to investigate the records, which reportedly came from Biden's tenure in the U.S. government before ever becoming president.
Biden served as a U.S. senator until 2008 before he became the vice president under President Barack Obama following the 2008 election.
The second time documents were found was last week next to a Corvette in his home garage.
Newsweek has reached out to the White House for comment.
The White House has previously declined to comment on the documents being found, saying they "have been turned over to proper authorities and will be part of the ongoing investigation."
Former President Donald Trump's home at Mar-a-Lago in Florida was raided last year by the FBI for suspected classified documents. Trump has asked on social media in the last few weeks why Biden's home hadn't been raided.
Trump posted on Truth Social late Saturday evening saying he "did nothing wrong."
"They created this Documents mess for themselves by being so totally DERANGED about me, and I did NOTHING WRONG!!!"
