Rap superstar Megan Thee Stallion and supermodel Lori Harvey were among the guests at Vice President Kamala Harris's exclusive champagne brunch on Saturday to celebrate Women's History Month and promote paid family leave.

News of the event, which was not disclosed to the media ahead of time, came Saturday evening as guests began posting about the gathering. Harris's office did not respond to the Washington Examiner's repeated requests for comment on the event, nor did the White House.

Others in attendance included comedian Phoebe Robinson, Bridgerton star Simone Ashley, 1619 Project author Nikole Hannah-Jones, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, Gen Z political activist Olivia Julianna, and Ambassador Susan Rice, who serves as Biden's domestic policy advisor. The elite gathering was co-sponsored by Glamour Magazine, which promotes a paid family leave initiative.

In addition to the champagne, guests were seen sipping on lattes emblazoned with foam art that read: "Women's History Month."

At the start of remarks captured by actress Nicole Ari Parker, who posted about her experience at the Saturday bash, the vice president described the attendees as a "phenomenal group of women" before getting into her support for expanded parental leave access.

"Everybody is hanging out together and it feels very casual, but this is a powerful group of people," she told the crowd.
