D.C. statehood protestors challenge Republican congressman
D.C. statehood advocates went to Capitol Hill on March 21 after Congress blocked the city’s proposed crime and visited Rep. Andrew S. Clyde’s (R-Ga.) office. Clyde has threatened to restrict D.C.’s Home Rule Act, which gives residents some control over local affairs.
