Florida wants to send freed man back to prison
Attorneys for Crosley Green filed arguments on March 31, 2023 with the Middle District court of Florida stating their client, who spent 33 years in prison, should remain out of prison. Green was released by a federal judge in April 2021 who ruled a prosecutor withheld evidence in his murder case. Green has long denied involvement in the 1989 killing of 21-year-old Charles “Chip” Flynn Jr. Florida’s attorney general is pushing for him to be sent back to prison for life after the U.S. Supreme Court declined to hear his case.
