Former CISA Director Christopher Krebs on social media platforms and election security
When asked if he thought social media platforms added to the security of the 2020 election, former CISA Director Christopher Krebs said, “From a foreign interference perspective, I think the social media platforms deserve a lot of credit…When you look into the behavior of the adversary…it evolved, they had to ditch their old techniques…I think [platforms] deserve a lot of credit for upping their game…When you make the adversary change their behavior, and change their tactics, that tells you that something is working.”
