Reynolds called on all Iowans to do their part to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19 by emphasizing the importance of limiting time away from home as much as possible, working from home if possible and keeping children home when possible.

“Now is a critical time for our state, and I am counting on every Iowan to be responsible for their own health and the health of others by doing the right thing now,” Reynolds said. “So stay at home and help us save a life. We’re all in this together.”

The Iowa Department of Public Health announced earlier in the day that there are 105 positive cases of COVID-19 statewide.

According to the Iowa DPH, 2,043 COVID-19 tests came back negative.
