Infectious disease specialist on Biden’s vaccine plan: “under promise and overdeliver”
Dr. William Schaffner, a CDC advisor and infectious disease specialist, joined NBC’s Joshua Johnson to discuss the disconnect between vaccine distribution and vaccine administration. Dr. Schaffner offered advice on how local and federal governments can improve vaccine rollout planning. He also commented on the Biden administration’s goal of 100 million doses in 100 days. “If everything goes right, we might even be able to exceed it,” Dr. Schaffner said.
