Jill Biden and second-gentleman Doug Emhoff raised eyebrows as the pair appeared to kiss on the lips at the president’s State of the Union address yesterday (7 February).
While Joe Biden opted for handshakes through the crowd, his wife held the hands of Emhoff as they shared a well-rehearsed embrace - which to outsiders, seemed rather odd.
However, no one at the event seemed to care, and instead just continued to clap for the pair.
