Kamala Harris: Voting Rights Are Non-Negotiable, 'We Are Not Giving Up'

Vice President Kamala Harris said that voting rights are a "fundamental freedom" and there should be "an unfettered access to the ballot". She added that President Joe Biden and herself will not "give up" on the issue despite the outcome on the voting rights act in Senate. The vote for changing the filibuster, to be able to pass bills containing legislation that would affect voting rights, failed after Democratic Senators Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Manchin joined Republicans in opposing the act.
